Trip to the Ohio

Well, Brooke beat me to it and posted on her blog about my trip to Ohio. I had the best time seeing Brooke and Dani and getting to know Lydia and Corbin better. Brooke is an excellent mom, and by far the most patient person I've ever met. Some other highlights were going out for ice cream twice and discussing with Lydia her work on her "dissertation" throughout the week. I even learned a little tip about freezing waffles/pancakes for snacks, and have started freezing my extra waffle french toast and heating them up in the toaster eggo waffle style.

Here are a few more pictures from my collection:

Miniature golfing

Playing at the park after a patriotic concert at the library

Playing with bubbles outside

I got my hair cut and donated it.

Saying goodbye at the airport--I'm bound for Mississippi and Brooke and Co. are going to Utah.

Yay -- I'm glad I'm not the only one a month behind! I had a dream last night that we got to hang out while we were both in Utah. Sad it didn't happen. So grateful you were able to come out and play! Let's do it again soon.

I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to connect too! I was thinking about you though. I did get to have a little brunch with Jess, Kim, & Ash on Tuesday though--all that was missing was you (and Dani and Lindsey and Erika etc.)

Glad you guys are back to posting! Looks like a fun break! AND I find that doing the freezer than toaster method for waffles makes them taste better anyways. I am addicted to freezing food though...
